Introduction
The Loire coal mining basin is an area of France that has been shaped by seven centuries of coal extraction from the 13th century to the 20th century and represents a significant period in the history of European industrialisation.
Aims
From an 1846 historical map showing location of different coal mining concessions with several stored in the legend (as a table) in the region of Saint-Etienne, we want to create a shape for calculate some basic statistics.
